 There were two big events in Washington at the end of August, organized by conservative talker (and Mormon) Glen Beck: on Friday (August 27), the "Divine Destiny" event at the Kennedy Center and then a huge "Restoring Honor" rally Saturday, on the mall in Washington.
Dr. Russell Moore, a prominent evangelical theologian, has written a brilliant article on this event, where he warns, "What concerns me here is not what this says about Beck or the 'Tea Party' or any other entertainment or political figure. What concerns me is about what this says about the Christian churches in the United States."
