Charlie Stump in the newsroom

I have come to Way Truth Life Radio after 30 years of pastoral ministry in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. It's good to be back home again -- as my home town is Mifflintown -- where WQJU broadcasts are transmitted.

I serve as News Director and greatly enjoy producing the Good News feature each week. I'm also grateful for the 'on air' time each weekday afternoon from 2 to 3:30 and from 5 to 6. It's a high privilege to talk with folks all across Central Pennsylvania. I earnestly hope what I share conveys something of the Lord's heart to the people that are listening in.

My family and I live in Altoona. My wife, Kathy, is a registered nurse. Our oldest daughter, Robin Hajzus, is a youth pastor's wife. Our second daughter, Sarah, is a flight attendant with U.S. Airways. Our son, Nate, is majoring in Youth Ministry at Eastern College. Our son, Thad, is a sophomore at Great Commission School in Altoona.

I greatly enjoy a good meal and fellowship around our dining room table with friends from near and far. And, of course, it's a treat to take my grandson, Justin, to our hobby train room to see the old steam engine smoke and hear that classic whistle blow.
