Pennsylvania Family Values Week The attack on God's definition and design of marriage continues to rage across this country. Now, the controversy has hit central Pennsylvania. State College mayor Bill Welch, in what may be a first for public officials in Centre County, has agreed to preside at a same-sex "commitment ceremony" this Saturday, March 29, 2008. Same-sex marriage or civil unions does not have legal standing -- so far -- in Pennsylvania. That may very well change IF the people of God do not speak out. NOW is the time to stand up SUPPORT God's design and plan for marriage as being between one man and one woman. To that end, we have an important broadcast this Thursday 8:00 - 10:00pm. Also, there will be a PENNSYLVANIA FAMILY VALUES RALLY at Old Main on the Penn State University Park campus in State College, 2:00pm this Saturday March 29th. Please note: this rally is NOT a protest event. It is intended to SUPPORT God's design, as clearly laid out in the Bible, for marriage and family. Click here for important information
Many Christian broadcast stations in the US are urging their listeners to comment on a critical upcoming Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Docket Proceeding. Unlike the decades old hoax petition regarding atheist Madelyn Murray O’Hair ending Christian radio, this one is real. It’s FCC Docket proceeding 04-233. If adopted as proposed, it will bring a variety of hardships to all noncommercial radio stations (including Way Truth Life Radio). You can view the aspects of the proceeding at this website: savechristianradio.com. On this special website, set up by other broadcasters, you can review the items that the FCC is proposing. Then to file a comment, which you, as a citizen, are entitled to do, there are instructions on how to file comment with the FCC. Click here to find out more and take action!
Tuesday April 22nd God is reaching out and changing lives for His glory through the ministries of CPCI. Every day we receive testimonies from folks all over central Pennsylvania who deeply appreciate what GOD is doing through these ministries. Would you prayerfully consider becoming a monthly partner of CPCI? First PRAY for us. This is a ministry and we are completely dependent upon God -- that's why we need prayer partners. Second, we need those who will financially support us each month. Monthly partnership is a great way to extend your giving, without putting a strain on your budget. Tuesday April 22 and Wednesday April 23 is our Spring Friend Raiser on Way Truth Life Radio. You'll hear what God is doing through our ministry and have a great opportunity to partner with us. You can even make a Faith Promise of support right now! Click here for more information about supporting us!

On Sunday January 1, 1978 our radio ministry was born with the inaugural broadcast of our flagship station WTLR-FM. During the early afternoon hours, the airwaves at 89.9 FM came alive with a glorious sound of CELEBRATION -- the joyous music of "Christ the Lord/He is Risen", performed by the Oklahoma Baptist Festival Choir. It was a humble beginning. Our first station home was a converted house in downtown State College and our first transmitter building was an old, dented truck box. The staff consisted mostly of eager and dedicated volunteers. And yet the dream was big: to bring to Central Pennsylvania a full time Christian radio voice. Click here for more on the story!

We'll see you at the concert! Pro-Life Lawyer in the Terry Schiavo Case at
Ezekiel Forum Event
Just two years ago, the nation was held spellbound by a gut-wrenching controversy. Terri Schiavo was a severely handicapped woman on a feed tube. Her husband demanded that the feeding tube be removed, an action which would kill her. Terri's family (the Schindler's) bravely fought to save her life. The attorney they turned to defend their daughter was David Gibbs III, of the Christian Law Association. CPCI is proud to present David Gibbs III in its next Ezekiel Forum, coming to Altoona on April 11th & 12th. Friday night from 7-9pm at the Blair Convention Center, he'll speak on "The Untold Story of Terry Schiavo and What it Means for All of Us". Saturday morning from 9 until 11, we'll conduct an open Q&A with Mr. Gibbs at the Faith Baptist Church of Altoona.
