Pastor Ed Fleming
Director of Ministries

(State College, PA - February 2006) -- After much prayer, thought and discussion the Central Pennsylvania Christian Institute (CPCI) Board of Directors, by the Grace of God, has named Pastor Ed Fleming as our new Director of Ministries! 

Pastor Fleming brings a rich and long ministry background in pastoral ministry, administrative roles and missions.  He has a tremendous passion to teach God's Word, lead others to Christ and disciple Christians.

In the role of Director of Ministries, Ed will serve as executive director over all the ministries of CPCI.  He will serve in ministry leadership together with CPCI's Board of Directors.  He is expected to assume this role in late spring.

We are truly excited about the choice we believe is God's man for a very important job here at CPCI.

Meet Chris Dwyer
Our New
Camp Program Director

The CPCI Board of Directors has named Chris Dwyer, a long time friend and volunteer of CPCI, as Program Director at Camp Kanesatake.   We're excited about this new addition to the camp staff!   An interview with Chris is scheduled to air on Way Truth Life Radio on Thursday February 23, 2006 at 7:15am, 12:35pm, 5:15pm and 8:04pm.

Dr. Peter Jones' "Cracking Da Vinci's Code" presentation airing in May

On Thursday April 6, 2006 3:15pm, Dr. Peter Jones, a noted theologian and Christian expert on Paganism will speak at an Ezekiel Forum event at the State College Christian & Missionary Alliance Church.

His presentation is titled, "Cracking Da Vinci's Code" and is intended to set the record straight on the lies promulgated through "The Da Vinci Code" book and movie.

Every year, God does amazing things in the lives of the precious children and teens who come out to Camp K. It’s a place of fun, friends, excitement… but above all… real, life-changing Bible-based, Christ-centered ministry!

But in order for camp to be a reality this summer, we need a host of volunteers… big-hearted folks who really want to be used of the Lord to make an eternal difference in the lives of the campers.

That’s what Camp-A-Thon is all about… it’s a CELEBRATION OF CHRISTIAN CAMPING! Throughout the day Monday April 10th and Tuesday April 11th, you’ll hear amazing stories and testimonies of what GOD has done through (and in) folks just like you while serving as a Camp Kanesatake volunteer.
