Your Help Is NeededThe scope of the horrific tragedy in Southern Asia in the wake of a devastating tsunami continues to unfold daily. The death toll is staggering. Thousands have been left homeless. The human need is great: recovery, shelter, medical assistance and rebuilding. Beyond this, however, are precious souls that need Jesus. For those who are wondering how they can help, CPCI recommends two Christian relief and mission agencies: The international Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse is sending emergency supplies and workers to Sri Lanka and Indonesia to help survivors of the disaster. To make a special donation, call 800-567-8183. That’s 800-567-8183 or on the web at www.samaritan.org The second is Gospel For Asia, which is rushing food, clothing, medical supplies -- and the love of God to millions of Asians still in deep shock from the disaster. GFA workers are already ministering among the estimated three million survivors huddled in massive refugee camps in India. Others are serving in Sri Lanka and other hard-hit countries. To donate to the Gospel For Asia relief effort, call 800-946-2742, that’s 800-946-2742 or visit their website at www.gfa.org. Please pray daily for those devastated by this disaster and thank you for responding to their need.
